User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Bookings and Payments
All bookings are subject to availability. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are listed in the applicable currency and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Confirmed bookings are binding once payment is completed. A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking for all teaching sessions and workshops. This deposit covers preparation costs — including food, materials, and resources — that are arranged in advance based on confirmed guest numbers.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation policies vary depending on the type of booking. For teaching bookings and workshops, the deposit paid at the time of booking is non-refundable under any circumstances, as preparation for a specific number of guests (including food and resources) begins immediately upon confirmation. In the event of a no-show, the guest remains responsible for the cost of food and resources prepared on their behalf, and The Caribou Club reserves the right to recover these costs. All other cancellations are handled on a case-by-case basis — please contact us as early as possible.
Facility Use and Safety
Visitors to The Caribou Club property must follow all posted rules, safety guidelines, and instructions from staff and Knowledge Carriers. The property is off-grid and in a natural setting; visitors assume responsibility for their own safety and well-being while on the property. The Caribou Club is not responsible for injuries resulting from failure to follow safety guidelines.
Intellectual Property
All content on The Caribou Club website, including text, images, videos, and designs, is the property of The Caribou Club or its licensors. Member-only content may not be recorded, redistributed, or shared without express written permission.
Respectful Conduct
The Caribou Club is a space for learning, respect, and cultural exchange. Users agree to treat all community members, staff, Knowledge Carriers, and elders with respect. Discriminatory, harmful, or disruptive behavior will result in removal from the facility and potential account termination.
Limitation of Liability
The Caribou Club provides its services on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties regarding the availability, accuracy, or completeness of our services. To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Caribou Club shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of New Brunswick, Canada.
